Sales Excellence - How to Become a Great Salesperson

One of the greatest basketball players in history is Michael Jordan.

But the thing, he wasn't "born" great.

Yes, he had some natural talent early on but that wasn't enough.

At the age of 15, he tried out for the Varsity Basketball Team but didn't make the cut.

That frustrated him more than anything and give him a chip on his shoulder.

He started working harder at mastering his game.

Mastering the fundamentals.

A year later, he made the team.

Eventually was named an All-American.

Fast forward and he's made over 30,000 career points, 6 NBA Championships, 5 MVP Titles, and has became the first billionaire player in the NBA.

One of my favorite quotes of his:

“The minute you get away from fundamentals – whether its proper technique, work ethic or mental preparation – the bottom can fall out of your game, your schoolwork, your job, whatever you’re doing.”

This applies so heavily to sales.
