Most people think building rapport is asking questions like:
"So...how's the weather out there?"
"So you must be a Cubs fan, right?"
"You got kids? Me too! How old are yours?"
This is what I call "shallow rapport."
It's small talk.
It's what the average reps do....
Then there's DEEP rapport.
This is what the top 1% do.
As a result, trust and rapport builds must faster so deals close faster.
